HOMESTAY ACCOMODATIONS

HomestayinLA offers affordable accommodations in the clean and desirable neighborhoods of West Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Culver City, Venice, Santa Monica and in the Hollywood area. There are several types of accommodations offered in our program.

Home stay - families provide a private, furnished room complete with clean linens, towels and blankets, some have a private bathroom.

Residence homes - are host that rent out their rooms to 4 or more students. They may offer breakfast and dinner, but there is no interaction between guest and host.  Such a residence is more appropriate for independent students.  Fees are the same.

All homes are conveniently located near public transit for quick and easy access to schools, shopping or business centers.

Home stay options, you may choose are:

Room and breakfast
Room, breakfast and dinner
Room, breakfast and dinner in Residence, ask for availability
Room only (no meals)
Room only in shared apartments ( we require that the student / intern or tourist spend a minimum of 4 weeks in home stay, then transfer to the shared room, if available, ask for prices

WHY HOMESTAY?

It is a unique experience for you to live with an American family.  Please keep in mind that Los Angeles is a large urban center with many types of Americans, including immigrants from Asia, Europe and South America.  We are proud to work with a diverse group of host families who will make your stay enjoyable and offer another level of perspective on your experience in America.

In a home stay you are not alone you can get advice about the various neighborhoods, and get acquainted with the city and its transportation system.

Home stay is much cheaper than staying in a hotel.

Home stay families have passed a thorough screening process and will provide you with a comfortable experience for your stay Los Angeles.

Our families and hosts consist of young couples, singles, single moms with kids, and/or mom, dad and kids and older people as well.  Many hosts have pets.  Pets are part of many American homes.  Our hosts understand the problems of being far away from home and will try to make your stay in Los Angeles a pleasant and memorable one.
 

In addition we offer airport pick up and drop off service.

A homestayinLA representative can meet you at the airport and drive you to your home. 
Arrangements can be made for transportation back to the airport when you leave.
